How to Invest

The minimum investment required to open an account is Rs. 1,000 for mutual funds and Rs. 3,000,000 for separately managed accounts (SMAs). However, there is no maximum investment limit.

All payments should be made in favour of the account title of the fund in which you are investing. Payments can be made through cheque, pay order, demand draft or online transfer.

For New Investors

   Fill the Investor Account Opening Form and Purchase of Units Form.

   Attach the mandatory documents mentioned on the application forms.

   Attach the payment instrument or proof of payment to your application.

   Send the application, mandatory documents and payment proceeds to our branch or Head Office. Once the complete application is received, AKDIML will verify the details and contact you to confirm your investment.

For Existing Investors

   Fill the Purchase of Units Form.

   Attach the payment instrument or proof of payment to the form.

   Send the form along with the required documents and payment proceeds to our branch or Head Office.

You can withdraw your investment, partially or completely, at any time by following this process:

   Fill the Redemption of Units Form and submit it to the branch or Head Office.

   Payment will be sent to the registered bank account available in our records within six working days.

You can convert your investment, partially or completely, from one AKDIML fund to another at any time. The conversion can be submitted through the online investor portal or by completing a Conversion Form and submitting it to the branch or Head Office during the cut-off timings published on the AKDIML website.

   Once AKDIML receives your registration form, relevant documentation and investment proceeds, a welcome email containing your registration number will be sent to your registered email address.

   Visit the online registration page, enter your registration number, CNIC and registered email address, then select Submit.

   Your User ID and password will be sent to your registered email address. You can then use these credentials to access the AKDIML online portal.
